Sometimes after production shift knobs don't always meet our high standard for quality so this is a way to get your hands on a discounted knob and for us to avoid wastage. Almost all of these knobs have slight imperfections but are still more than capable of giving you the experience they were designed for. They will ALL have at least one of the following: slight imperfections like small dimples, small scratches, blemishes under the clear-coat, imperfect surface, etc.
We have included a few photos of the types of possible imperfections you can expect.
Please note: All damaged knobs are sold AS-IS without any warranty options. There are NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES for these items. We also cannot provide specific details about the quality of a specific shift knob before you purchase it.

I love the shift knob. I can’t tell where the imperfection is. I think it might be a little too light for me so I ordered the heavy one too!

Was expecting there to be a little damage but I can't find any whatsoever. Looks great and feels great while shifting.
Label Says it was damaged, well, not to the point of where it wouldn't be useful. This is installed on a 2005 outback XT with a 2018 Crosstrek 6spd transmission swap. The car is Garnet Red, and the knob matches the paint. Works good shifts good feels good.

Got the shift knob and it was more than I expected. The smallest little knick on the top of the knob that you can barely see. It's beautiful and looks great inside my 2011 wrx!!

Love it. Got it as damaged so it was discounted but the damage wasn’t anything horrible in any way. Just a small chip in the black paint. Was looking for something to replace the oem knob. It’s got good weight to it and feels good.
Fits perfect. I got a blem knob, but it still looks great.
I ordered damaged, but I'm having trouble seeing fault with it as it's well made and is now the cf trim cover centerpiece.

Honestly its a gamble 50/50 ive seen but for 7 dollars i got a good shift nob Honestly just weaving was messed but but besides dat its clean asf no problem
The only defect is a small bump at the base, you could feel it so I just rotated it to where you wouldnt. I got an adapter for the reverse lock out for the esthetic but it functioned without and I actually kinda liked the height without. For the discounted price I can't complain.

Fits like a glove, could barely notice any blemishes. Feels good and doesn’t get too hot even down here in Florida
Absolutely love it! Old shift knob rattled, drove me crazy. Opted for one of the damaged ones, just incase it rattled too and it’s perfect! Please subie flow come out with a subie blue! I’ll definitely be a return customer.

Love this shift knob, I ordered the damaged shift knob and you can’t tell where its damaged, looks brand new! Only bad part is it doesnt fit the boomba short throw shifter as it gets on the way of the reverse lock out! But I love it so much I just unscrew it to go into reverse lol

Beautiful piece. Had 1 little flaw on it but doesn't take away from the craftsmanship ot quality
I knew the knob would be "damaged" and I was hoping to get one that had a scuff or some form of damage on the sides, but this one has the damage smack on the top middle of the handle. Everytime I look at it, I feel the urge to try and rub it off. It's overall ok, with no other damage.
Even though it is a blemish, it looks great overall. Love the look and fit of the shift knob.
